# Audit logs

> The audit_logs resource — read-only, control-plane-only access to Project-lifecycle audit events.

`persona.audit_logs` (sync) / `await persona.audit_logs` (async) wraps
`/api/v1/developer/audit-logs`.

Audit logs are **read-only, control-plane only** (mirrors Providers — no `ExternalUser` ownership
concept). A client constructed with `external_user_id` gets an **empty `PaginatedResult` back, not
an error** — the same existence-hiding-style precedent `providers.list()` established.

Async: `await persona.audit_logs.list(...)`.

<Warning>
  Today's audit log covers **Project-lifecycle events only** — credential
  minted/revoked, membership added/removed, Project suspended/restored, deletion
  requested/cancelled/completed. It does **not** cover resource CRUD — creating,
  updating, or deleting an Agent/Skill/Knowledge Base/Provider/MCP leaves no
  entry here yet. Don't expect to find a `"agent.deleted"` event; it doesn't
  exist as of this release.

## `list(params=None)`

Lists Project-lifecycle audit events for this credential's Domain.

`ListAuditLogsParams` (all optional): `page` (default `1`), `limit` (default `20`),
`eventType` (optional **exact-match** filter — e.g. `"credential.created"`).

Each `AuditLogEntry`:

| Field | Type | Description |

| `eventType` | `str` | e.g. `'credential.created'`. |
| `timestamp` | `str` | ISO timestamp. |
| `actorContextType` | `str` | Which auth context performed the action. |
| `actorIdentity` | `str \| None` | Who performed it (null if system/unknown). |
| `targetDomain` | `str` | The Domain the event concerns. |
| `targetResourceId` | `str \| None` | The resource the event concerns, if any. |
| `metadata` | `dict[str, Any]` | Event-specific detail. |
